Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

Two Trees is a light-filled home on Lake Huron that is a perfect spot for couples, small families, and solo travelers. Situated on a wooded lot, Two Trees sleeps four, and has a freshly updated kitchen and bathroom. The path to our private, sandy beach winds through the woods and down 38 stone steps - which are challenging for some. The house is a short drive to Lumberman's Memorial, Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, and Dinosaur Gardens. It is near US 23; there will be road noise.

Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

The house is located in town. My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.
