Our cozy and cheerful, three story victorian is located in downtown Punxsutawney, home of the famous groundhog! Located across from Barclay Square and within walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants, and activities. Outside we have covered parking, a little yard and a sweet gazebo. Our spacious main floor includes a full kitchen, breakfast/game nook, dining room, large living room, sitting/office area, and enclosed porch. Each of our six comfortable bedrooms are uniquely decorated.

For your comfort, this front room has been equipped with a burl wood four poster king bed, work desk with Ethernet and wireless internet connections. A double in-room whirlpool bath with twin showers offers you enjoyment by the light of the early 1930s pewter chandelier, and a private half bath completes the room. Foodies have lovely cafés, wineries, cideries, breweries, and distilleries to visit. You can also "burrow in", catch up on that book and not leave your suite.... We're pet-friendly by the way!! Country setting, just minutes away from town. 10 minutes from IUP. Serving fresh "good for you" breakfast. Hot tub and campfire available for use. My husband and I will be staying at the house and will be available for questions or can let guests enjoy their space. Feel free to create your own lunch or dinner in the kitchen. I have two other rooms available if needed for extra guests: Sunshine on my Shoulders (2 twin beds) and Safari Room (Queen size bed).

We live in a 1904 American Foursquare brick home, furnished with antiques. We are empty nesters . Port Allegany is a small town nestled in the wooded hills of the northern Pennsylvania Wilds. Hiking, stargazing, kayaking, blueberry picking, Amish, fishing and hunting abound. An alpaca farm and a WWII museum are nearby. Kinzua Bridge and Cherry Springs State Parks, drive-in movies, wineries, breweries and distilleries are within an hours' drive.
