Camp under Blue Ridge Mtn sky river A Frame Cabin

Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful mountain home. Located on 6 acres by a large creek where you can hike, fish or just play and cool off. You can hang out at our pond where you can swim or float & soak up some sun on provided floats. In addition to the main house we have a pond house where you can chill & grill while you are hanging out at the pond. Located close to the River if you want to rent kayaks or tubes. Dine at nearby cafes or we’re a short trip to town. Must be 21 to book.

Enjoy this 750 sq ft peaceful mountain getaway! It is about 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway which is known for its scenery and mountain overlooks. It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. Year round hot tub!

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Our well-appointed, rustic cabin will comfortably accommodate 8 adults with 4 bedrooms, 2 full and 2 half bathrooms. We are directly on the New River with over 300 feet of river frontage which is great for fishing! Plenty of bass and catfish in the river. Sit on the front porch on a swing or rocking chair and take it all in! The living room has a large stone fireplace to enjoy on chilly nights.
