Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Lookout Lodge Mississippi River retreat

Nestled into the Mississippi River bluffs just outside of Prairie du Chien, you'll love the view right above the Lynxville Lock & Dam. Spend your time playing games with the family, roasting s'mores in the wood burning fireplace or warming up in the hot tub. Everything you need for a fun family get-a-way is right here. 6 miles from Gatherings on the Ridge wedding venue. Minutes away from a boat launch, Cabela's, and shopping/dining. Short drive to Pikes Peak State Park, McGregor and Marquette.

Unwind at the Stone

Our upper level has an open loft space with 4 king beds. Full bathroom with urinal and 2 vanities located outside the bathroom. One bed can be private with sliding doors. Our lower level has a partial partition between 2 king beds, full bathroom. Main level, single bedroom, queen Murphy bed and queen sofa, half bath. There is a deck off the upper level with Mississippi River views connecting to a main level deck off our kitchen. Under the deck on the ground level is outdoor shower and BBQ area.

Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.
