The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Outside you'll find a private patio where you can curl into the nest chair or dine outside on nice days. Inside you'll find a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen that is furnished stylishly with art and goods made by local artists & artisans.

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Guests enjoy fast Wi-Fi, convenient laundry access, & the chance to see local wildlife right outside the back door — moose (often with calves), ravens, Steller’s jays, squirrels, & on rare occasions, a bear. This spacious lower level is a daylight basement perfect for groups of eight or families traveling with children. Placed in the middle of two acres the home is surrounded by manicured yards, beautiful mountain peaks, and tall trees. Yard is open for play, or walking, as is the basketball court. Lower patio has chairs for sitting out and enjoying the green therapy of summer. Located 4 miles from Palmer this home and the surrounding yards are spacious, peaceful, beautiful and sure to please.

Ron’s Knik Glacier Views is a brand-new private guest suite with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and River. Includes 120-acres of Alaskan wilderness with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, sleeps 6. The accommodations include a walk out, wrap-around balcony. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft.
