For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Lily Pond

Lily Pond, is a luxurious guest house just an hour and a half from Cape Town. Lily Pond is set on a natural pond brimming with incredible bird life, creating a serene atmosphere unmatched anywhere else. With no other cottages in sight and located on a picturesque wine farm, it offers a rare blend of privacy and luxury. The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. A few feet from the cabin, you will have your own private deck with braai facilities. Enjoy!

Our location, opposite two islands, makes it the perfect spot for bird watching, kayaking and swimming. Note to birdwatchers: five species of sunbirds were spotted in one weekend by a guest! Highlights include the Splendid Sunbird, Grey Kestrel and the elusive Leaf-love.
