Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! On a quiet private road 35 minutes to Acadia national park. 10 minutes to Ellsworth.

Cottage 11 is a quaint rustic cottage with one king bed, a full bath with shower, A/C, mini-fridge, cable, television, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, coffee pot, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. As with all guests who join our Ohana, there is full access to the indoor kitchen downstairs in the main building, the outdoor kitchen and grill, full access to the common use hot tub, and the bonfire pit on the back lawn.

This private cabin is located 10 minutes from bar harbor and Acadia National Park hiking trails. Beautiful view of Cadillac mountain from the patio/bbq area. All linens, cookware, towels etc are provided. There is WIFI in the cabin now. The cabin is on the family property of a commercial fishing family. You will see plenty of lobster traps! :) it will be an authentic Maine experience.
