Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. Rowanlea Lodge is your peaceful countryside retreat surrounded by rolling fields, birdsong and wide‑open skies. Visit the East Coast with stunning beaches. St Cyrus (6 miles) and Lunan Bay (12 miles) Spot "Sid" the resident red squirrel and relax while your dogs explore the secure spacious garden. Fire up the Chesney Heat & Grill for a delicious BBQ as you soak up the view and when the sky turns golden sink into your own private hot tub and watch the sunset towards the hills.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese and an excellent Morrisons Daily shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.
